Allowing repairers to send and receive quotes digitally and order parts seamlessly from within the management system having already received validated part information and pricing.

AutoFlow go live with Arcus

At the end of 2022, a select number of AutoFlow 4:G Repairers have started a pilot for a direct connection to 'TPS – for Volkswagen Group Genuine Parts'. This new feature of AutoFlow 4:G – included in the 9.5 roll-out – will allow repairers to send and receive quotes digitally, order parts seamlessly from within the management system having already received validated part information and pricing; perhaps most importantly, the AutoFlow 4:G repairer will receive live part status updates including backorder statuses and ETA's which will have an industry-wide benefit in courtesy car utilisation.

The proactive nature of this development means that communication between the AutoFlow 4:G Repairer and Vehicle Manufacturer is seamless and efficient; the information is in the right place, at the right time, so less time chasing for updates allowing repairers to get on with the job in hand.

This is a big part of the jigsaw in the war on escalating repairer and supplier non-productive cost.

Chris McKie, CEO 'This is an immensely exciting project with a long-standing partner, a genuine leap in the efficiency of core processes. Critical in the removal of all party operational effort and several degrees of cost, whilst increasing service delivery. This is a big part of the jigsaw in the war on escalating repairer and supplier non-productive cost. Removing layers of admin duplications between VDA's, parts departments and customer services, filling the gaps with synchronous updating and enhanced customer communications. It truly is the gift that keeps giving, increasing satisfaction and reducing cost with the use of AutoFlow advanced system capabilities and by re-imagining the processes with better thinking and collaborations. Aligned to our recent announcements and the bi directional connectivity to the industry leading estimating systems, there will be a greatly reduced need for repairers to try and fill in the gaps in their processes with multiple system solutions and the extra cost and effort associated with these. This is not a clever PowerPoint, vapour wear or a build it and they will come exercise... It's here now, it's scalable, it will be deployable by repairer choice for all their customers through AutoFlow, not just Vizion, we believe firmly it's another big step toward permanent improvement for everyone'

Exciting releases on the horizon include bi-directional connectivity with the estimating systems to reduce the operation friction and admin requirements – ensuring that there is a single source of truth from the management system to estimating system.

On top of this, the Arcus Total Loss Avoidance solution is truly ground-breaking – a transparent, fast, automated and intelligence-led process giving all parties all the information needed to make the right decision, at the right point, without the admin!

This development is the start of an exciting new era of direct connectivity with Vehicle Manufacturers. Watch this space for the industry leading initiatives that this system will deliver over the coming months and years.
